About me
Dr. med. univ. Mohammad M. Kasiri PhD
Specialist for vascular surgery
Specialist for general & visceral surgery
Aesthetic surgery

In 2007, during my medical studies at the Medical University of Vienna, I discovered my passion for surgery. Even as a student, I gained extensive experience in the surgical departments of Viennese hospitals and discovered my enthusiasm for research. This led me to an additional doctoral degree (PhD) in “Vascular Biology”. In 2013, I was given the opportunity to work in the renowned Christian Doppler Laboratory at Vienna General Hospital, where I gained valuable insights into the diagnosis of cardiovascular diseases.
After studying medicine, I completed my specialist training in general and visceral surgery at Vienna General Hospital. During my clinical rotations at the Hanusch Hospital and the Donaustadt Clinic, I gained extensive experience, particularly in the treatment of varicose veins and veins. I then specialized at the Clinical Department of Vascular Surgery at Vienna General Hospital.
My professional journey has taken me through several countries, where I was able to gain valuable experience in minimally invasive endoluminal vascular surgery. This international perspective enables me to combine modern treatment methods for diseases of the abdominal aorta (abdominal aorta) and arterial occlusive diseases.
Today I am married, the proud father of two children and work as a specialist at the Clinical Department of Vascular Surgery at Vienna General Hospital. I also work as a consultant and attending physician at renowned private hospitals in Vienna. In addition to my clinical work, I am also involved in research and teaching. My focus is on the treatment of vascular problems, including narrowing of the carotid artery (carotid stenosis), varicose veins (varices) and arterial occlusive diseases. I have led numerous national and international research projects and published my work in prestigious journals. As a senior mentor at the Medical University of Vienna, I support students on their path into medicine.
My aim is not only to offer the best possible medical care, but also to create a feeling of security and trust.
I look forward to welcoming you to my practice and accompanying you on your path to health and well-being.
